Male external catheters, also known as condom catheters, are a device used to manage urinary incontinence. Much like a condom, these catheters are worn over the penis. The urine is then drained from the male external catheter to a collection bag that is secured to the leg. If a male external catheter is being used overnight, most collection bags can be connected to a bedside overnight collection bag. Male external catheters are measured in millimetres.
