Having Canada’s largest selection of adult incontinence products allows Healthwick to offer a wide selection of absorbency options. It is well known that adult diapers tend to have a higher absorbency than most pull-up underwear or pads. For those who manage heavy urinary or bowel incontinence, finding a well-fitting and high-absorbency adult diaper is essential to ensuring you are protected from leaks.
To help you, we’ve put together a list of 5 best selling adult diapers with some of the highest capacities available on the market. While these products are not the most discreet, they offer some of the best protection based on their maximum capacity (in millilitres) as tested in a laboratory environment.*
Don’t forget, that capacity is only one measure of how well an adult diaper works for you. We suggest that you read our handy guide 7 Reasons Your Brief is Leaking for more tips! You can also shop all adult diapers for maximum urinary or bowel incontinence on our website.
*All Maximum capacities are ISO lab tested numbers. Please note that maximum absorbent capacity may differ based on the product size. Be sure to carefully read product descriptions prior to purchasing. If you have any questions about any of these products, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us Toll Free at 1-877-755-6656.

If you’re already in a highly-absorbent and well-fitting adult diaper and feel you still need some extra protection, we recommend you give booster pads a try.
Booster pads, also known as diaper doublers, are an easy way to add extra absorbency and extend the life of any adult diaper or pull-up underwear. When used in conjunction with a brief or underwear, booster pads can increase the capacity of the host product as they are made from a porous material without a plastic backing. When the booster pad reaches its maximum capacity, it will allow liquid to flow through into the host product.
Here are a few booster pads with some of the highest absorbencies available. To learn more about booster pads, click here.
The unique shape of this booster pad by tranquility allows this product to effectively hold larger amounts of liquid. This notable booster pad can hold 27.5oz (Approximately 813mL), offering a good amount of extra absorbency for any brief or underwear products.
Tranquility manufacturers multiple types of booster pads in a range of absorbency options. If you're looking for a little extra absorbency, check out the Tranquility TopLiner Booster Pad or the Tranquility TopLiner Super Booster Pad.

The quality of the Abena M4 has gone down in the last few years. Comparing a sample I had (thanks Healthwick!) that is 5 years old with the current version, the difference is night and day.
The Dry 24/7 is a good product but has a very unusual shape compared to everything else.
The capacity is about half of what is advertised in practice. But overall, these are great diapers.

Better dry and xp5000 work extremely well. I also have used plenty of M4. The mega max holds a lot when it holds. For me I often get leaks long before the diaper is saturated. I think it’s because the wicking factor of them is slower.

M4 AND BETTER DRY I FOUND TO BE THE BEST
