For intermittent sellf catheterization.

These work well for their intended purpose. An itinerant nurse showed me how to use these I would recommend some such initial assistance. The knack of preparing and inserting these catheters can be learned quickly. I urge you to be obsessive about cleanliness when using these catheters

I have started daily cath for dilatation due to stricture. the first product obtained from pharmacy was MedRx regular catheters. Not knowing what to expect I accepted them carte blanche. There was irritation each time with spots of blood twice in a week. Then needed to order more, so checked internet suppliers. Surprise - there are a variety of designs to improve comfort. I chose the Convatec Gentle Cath for design and price, hoping they would be an improvement. They have proven to be much more comfortable to use, with no 'scratching feeling' and no blood. I just wish the information about design would have been available before buying anything.
